With a strong reputation built on reliability and customer satisfaction, they continue to grow and expand their operations. To support this growth, they’re looking to add an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to their accounting team. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate customer account records and ensuring the timely application of payments across multiple business units. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and confident in handling both day-to-day transactional work and occasional customer communications. Responsibilities

Accurately post all incoming payments, including checks, credit cards, ACH, wire transfers, and online transactions (such as PayPal or Braintree), to customer accounts for the main company and its subsidiaries Review and research credit balances to ensure proper account reconciliation and document findings clearly Provide backup support for various AR functions, including account reconciliations, processing credit and debit memos, and assisting with light collections when needed Monitor payment portals and download daily payment files, ensuring batches are balanced and properly recorded Work with internal departments and external customers to resolve unapplied cash and account discrepancies promptly Communicate with payers to encourage the transition to electronic payments and streamline the cash application process Assist management with special projects or additional accounting tasks as needed Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Cash Applications Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication abilities A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
