We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join The Seagate Hotelteam. As the first point of contact for our guests, this role is key to creating a welcoming and memorable experience. The Front Desk Agent will handle guest check-ins and check-outs, manage reservations, answer inquiries, and provide attentive service that reflects The Seagate's commitment to luxury hospitality and excellence.
What You Do:
Confirm the sell status for the day and review group bookings, noting any special arrangements or requests. Organize reservations for the day's arrivals, pre-blocking VIP and group reservations. Run daily reports including house counts, room availability, occupancy, arrivals, and departures. Check guests in following credit policies and ensure the security of keys and key cards. Resolve guest problems promptly and efficiently. Take reservations in accordance with availability and handle outbound mail, messages, and packages. Maintain accurate turn away statistics if required. Understand and utilize the property management system effectively. Run appropriate daily special request reports and distribute them. Process credit limit reports and handle cash transactions accurately. Handle incoming reservation calls, answer inquiries, and provide necessary information. Process related mail such as reservation requests and correspondence. Provide clear directions and local area information to guests when needed. Promote effective referral services with other hotels. Stay informed about the property's sell status, group arrivals, special promotions, and local events. Understand property security and key control procedures, as well as reservation policies. Be familiar with property fire safety and emergency procedures, including emergency phone numbers. Perform any other duties as required. What You Bring to the Table:
Clear, concise, and grammatically correct communication skills in the primary language. Ability to understand and fulfill requests promptly and accurately. Outgoing, friendly, and patient demeanor, even during extended hours. Strong multitasking abilities with poise, accuracy, and timeliness. Familiarity with The Seagate Hotel's policies and procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours or more. Willingness to work long hours, weekends, nights, and holidays as necessary. Capability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift, carry, and push up to fifty pounds, and operate pushcarts weighing up to 250 pounds.
