LocumJobsNetwork is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology MD in Kentucky! About The Position We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a weekend locum tenens assignment in Kentucky, starting Oct 31, 2025. This is a 1-day contract with 24-hour out-of-house call coverage from Friday morning to Saturday morning, featuring a high callback volume and a focus on emergency OB/GYN cases, including C-sections and deliveries. Proficiency with Epic and Nextgen EMR systems is preferred. Obstetrician/Gynecologist Schedule: 24-hour out-of-house weekend call, Friday 7AM to Saturday 7AM; high callback (typically 4-10 hours per day) Responsibilities and Duties Provide 24-hour out-of-house call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology cases Manage emergency OB and GYN cases, including NSTs and complex situations Perform C-sections and oversee delivery care as needed Respond to frequent callbacks as required by clinical volume Utilize Epic and Nextgen for documentation and patient management Additional Information Kentucky medical license required Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required Minimum 2 years of experience preferred, with demonstrated emergency OB and GYN expertise Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
