Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a Temp-to-Hire Grill Cylinder Dock Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will support our Production Line operations by learning and performing essential tasks for safe and efficient production. Reporting to the Production Management team, you’ll be a key member of the Grill Cylinder Dock team, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service for our customers.
Key Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with safe operations of the tank/cylinder manufacturing platform.
- Unload, inspect, evacuate, refill, organize, and load tanks/cylinders.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts to move tanks/cylinders.
- Perform cylinder refurbishing: sanding, priming, painting, and labeling.
- Inspect, test, and replace OPD (Overfill Protection Device) valves.
- Refill tanks/cylinders for commercial and residential deliveries.
- Calibrate scales daily.
- Maintain a clean and organized production floor.
- Troubleshoot facility issues (basic electrical, plumbing rough-in, light power tool use, trenching).
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned.

- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness to ensure safety.
- Effective verbal and written communication with customers, vendors, and team members.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong interpersonal skills—customer-focused, enthusiastic, committed, motivated, and resourceful.
Preferred but not required:
- Experience with sanding, priming, and painting.
- Hand truck, pallet jack, and forklift operation (with OSHA safety training).
- Welding and/or soldering experience.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain in a standing position for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift/move items up to 75 lbs. to chest height.
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to a variety of weather conditions.
- Ability to move safely throughout the facility and navigate around machinery and equipment.
Work Schedule & Compensation
- Hours:6AM-3:15PM,7AM-3:30PM,3:15PM-11:45 PM, Monday-Friday (w/ overtime as needed)
- Employment Type: Temp- to-hire (potential for permanent placement)
- Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
