Direct message the job poster from Brooksource Overview An agency within the Commonwealth of VA is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to support the implementation and integration of critical law enforcement systems. This role is based full-time on-site at headquarters in North Chesterfield, VA and is central to transforming legacy systems into modern, cloud-based platforms. You’ll work closely with their stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to drive requirement gathering, testing, change management, and system adoption. Key Responsibilities Analyze existing systems, processes, and gaps Elicit and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements Create process flow diagrams, use cases, and traceability matrices Oversee test planning, execution, and user acceptance testing (UAT) Align vendor deliverables with agency requirements and deadlines Support user training and change readiness during rollout Serve as a liaison between internal teams, vendors, and external agencies Represent VSP in meetings and ensure solutions support agency mission Basic Qualifications 10+ years of business analysis experience, including COTS and SaaS system implementation Hands-on experience with cloud-based and web applications Strong documentation and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences Skilled in business process modeling, test planning, and validation Familiar with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project methodologies Understanding of system architecture, APIs, and database concepts Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to work in a high-accountability environment Preferred CBAP certification Experience in public sector, law enforcement, or regulated industries Familiarity with user profile security, access control, and compliance What’s in it for you?
