Position Summary The UNM School of Architecture & Planning is looking for a Marketing Assistant to play a key role in marketing and outreach efforts for the School. The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for providing:

Still photography and video services at key events, processing photos and video footage for use in digital environments including websites, social media, ads

Social media account support by creating visual assets and organic posts and coordinating post sharing between School and department, program and center accounts

Minimum Qualifications Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.

Preferred Qualifications

Majoring in Fine Arts – Photography, Film; Marketing, Communication & Journalism, Architecture or related discipline

Proficient in digital camera use for capturing quality still photography and video

Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop and Premiere Pro

Agile in using social media platforms for business, particularly Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Meta Accounts Studio

Understanding of digital marketing concepts, tactics and tools

Available to work up to 20 hours per week during regular business hours
