Training Specialist, Cell Therapy Manufacturing
Location: Devens, MA
Join Bristol Myers Squibb as a Training Specialist in Cell Therapy Manufacturing.
This role supports continuous education and technical skill improvement for manufacturing operators.
Responsibilities
Execute operations as described in SOPs and batch records.
Demonstrate practical and theoretical knowledge.
Complete documentation required by training policies.
Perform tasks in compliance with safety, quality systems, and GMP.
Qualify new employees on assigned curriculum.
Execute trainee requalification as needed.
Ensure on‑time completion of training assignments.
Collaborate with support groups to recommend and solve training gaps.
Identify innovative solutions.
Support creation of manufacturing training materials such as OJT and instructor‑led trainings.
Work independently, escalating issues appropriately and working with management to resolve.
Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA guidance for biologics and cell therapy manufacturing (preferred).
Must be able to gown into a cleanroom environment.
Must be able to be near strong magnets.
Experience delivering training to adult learners and groups.
Experience and knowledge of Cell Therapy operations (preferred).
Communicate effectively between peers, trainees, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
Work collaboratively with all employees at all levels.
Demonstrate strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Basic Requirements
4+ years of experience in cGMP bioprocessing manufacturing, cell therapy manufacturing or relevant experience.
Bachelor’s in a relevant science or engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Benefits Overview Competitive compensation of $43.84‑$53.12 per hour for a full‑time FTE based on experience. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available.
