Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Interior Designer to join our team. This individual will play a key leadership role—managing projects from concept to completion, building lasting client relationships, and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate is a natural leader, excellent communicator, and a thoughtful designer who thrives in a collaborative, high-expectation environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead interior design projects from initial concept through final installation.
Collaborate with clients to understand needs, present design concepts, and manage expectations with professionalism and creativity.
Guide and manage project teams, including junior designers, assistants, and external consultants.
Create and oversee design presentations, drawings, FF&E specifications, and schedules.
Coordinate with contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure design intent is realized.
Conduct on-site visits and walkthroughs during all phases of the project.
Maintain organized documentation, timelines, and budgets.
Represent the firm with professionalism, confidence, and positivity.
What We’re Looking For:
10+ years of high-end residential interior design experience
Proven ability to lead projects independently and manage client relationships.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Highly collaborative and team-oriented—someone others enjoy working with.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and other relevant design software.
NCIDQ certification is a plus.
