Hill International is seeking a Construction Manager in Miami, Florida
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of construction experience with aviation projects
Bachelor's degree in architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or another related technical field required
Master's degree preferred
Relevant Professional Licensure &/or Certifications are strongly preferred
Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc.
Has demonstratable specialized experience/area of expertise
Must possess and maintain excellent client relationships
Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite Word and Excel software programs
Must be knowledgeable and experienced with the principles of effective communication and supervision
Must be self-motivated and have strong interpersonal skills
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be local to Miami or willing to relocate. This is an onsite position at Miami Airport

Responsibilities
Assist the Client in all aspects of required field and office construction engineering work
Prepare PM/CM plans to include change management plan invoicing procedures budget and schedule monitoring processes quality assurance plan safety oversight and project specific procedures including communication/coordination plans for the project
Manage and administer construction contracts
Manage preconstruction planning activities and meetings with all stakeholders
Review and comment on the Contractor’s construction schedule(s) and work plan(s)
Provide design-support-during construction
Ensure compliance and enforcement of FAA requirements
Change order processing
RFI (request for information) response(s)
Prepare monthly consultant invoices
Conduct construction progress meetings and project team meetings
Coordinate agreements with and work of sub-consultants and services
Maintain on-going contact with the Client
Develop the Scope of Work (SOW) for upcoming projects
Coordinate work windows with the operating group and contractor to maximize productivity
