Responsibilities include architecting solutions for inpatient and specialty streams, supporting materials management interfaces, developing custom CCL/DA2 rules, collaborating with offshore teams on low-level design artifacts, leading impact analysis for upgrades, serving as an escalation point for complex technical issues, mentoring consultants and junior architects, and engaging clinical educators, nurse informaticists, and IT governance to validate design assumptions and secure stakeholder buy‑in. Technical Skills & Certifications
Expert in Cerner Millennium Nursing (eMAR, PowerForms, OB, ED), Clairvia staffing Proficiency in CCL, DA2, domain management, and mPages for nursing workflows Deep understanding of HL7 v2.x/FHIR integrations for ancillary services and device interfacing (e.g., IV pumps) Preferred: Cerner Certified Architect – Nursing Informatics; certification in perioperative informatics Experience
8–10 years architecting Cerner nursing and ancillary solutions, including high‑customization environments (OB, perioperative, ED) Proven leadership in large‑scale clinical system deployments across multi‑facility health systems Soft Skills
Strong stakeholder management bridging clinical and technical teams Strategic vision with excellent written/presentation skills Leadership presence and consensus‑building aptitude Salary
Range: $150,000 - $185,000 (remote salary may vary by location)
