Base pay range $34.00/hr - $48.00/hr

Laboratory Technician Responsibilities

Under close supervision, conduct laboratory experiments following safety guidelines, work from and understand provided protocols, and appropriately document experimental details in eLN while following RMD guidance documents for ensuring data integrity.

Provide experiment details and conclusions for design history files, troubleshoot experiment-related issues, and execute activities within the assigned timeframe.

Analyze experimental data using basic skills and existing templates, following protocols for data analysis under supervision.

Communicate results to supervisor in a timely manner, use basic technical writing skills to write lab reports in eLN and DHFs, present findings at group meetings, and accept and provide feedback.

Establish professional relationships, participate in active collaboration within Development, and maintain a culture of respectful and professional interactions among the entire team.

Participate in routine lab maintenance, lab safety, ISO, and QSR implementation, and track laboratory inventory (e.g., equipment, supplies, specimens, raw materials, reagents).

Apply basic understanding of molecular/microbiology and biochemical concepts (e.g., PCR, sterile technique, calculations) and familiarize with assay and platform.

Be aware of project timelines and actively contribute towards the completion of project goals.

Accountable for own career development and engagement, and demonstrate cultural beliefs and growth mindset.

Qualifications

1+ year experience in a GMP or GLP environment.

BS in Biology or a related discipline.

Basic technical writing skills.
