Job Description The U.S. Patient Services team is an industry‑leading organization that provides unparalleled patient support, resulting in improved brand loyalty and patient satisfaction. The Director of HUB Strategy & Services reports to the Head of Enrollment and Triage Support and develops and leads strategies to optimize access to AbbVie’s products. Collaborating with Access & Reimbursement leadership, Payer, Trade, and Hub teams, the Director oversees initiatives that enhance AbbVie's patient support programs, access strategies, and reimbursement programs.

Major Responsibilities

Lead effective collaboration with internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors to drive strategic alignment and engagement.

Develop and sustain a high‑performing organization by recruiting, training, coaching, and recognizing team members, while establishing efficient workflows.

Inspire and motivate direct and indirect collaborators around a shared purpose, fostering commitment to business objectives.

Balance long‑term strategic objectives with immediate patient and team deliverables, ensuring sustainable support for AbbVie PSPs.

Lead the development and delivery of comprehensive access and reimbursement strategies in partnership with APS, Market Access, Trade and Hub teams to maximize patient access to products while ensuring financial viability.

Stay informed about changes in healthcare policy, reimbursement regulations, and market trends.

Oversee key, high‑visibility strategic initiatives and drive change management and stakeholder engagement across a diverse, matrixed Patient Services organization.

Partner with APS TBUs, Strat Ops, MABI, BTS, and other leadership teams to establish KPIs for assessing access and reimbursement strategy effectiveness.

Collaborate with and align objectives to internal stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Legal, Quality, OEC, SPDO, BTS, etc.).

Oversee the annual budgeting process and ensure HUB programs operate at or below planned budget levels.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.

15+ years of experience in healthcare.

7+ years of supervisory experience.

Strong strategic thinking, project management, and organizational skills.

Proven ability to drive outstanding employee performance and engagement through coaching, motivation, and inspiration.

Vendor management and performance oversight with clear governance and continuous improvement.

Additional Information

The compensation range described is a range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on job grade. Individual compensation will depend on many factors including geographic location.

This job is eligible to participate in our short‑term incentive programs and long‑term incentive programs.
