Join Integra as a Commissioning Safety Manager to lead the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of electrical and mechanical commissioning safety plans across all phases of project operations. This full‑time role earns a target total compensation of $130,000 – $160,000, including base pay and incentive performance bonus.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation, and auditing of the Electrical and Mechanical Commissioning Safety Plan.

Oversee safe execution of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), equipment energization, and electrical testing.

Ensure compliance with NFPA 70E, OSHA 29 CFR 1910/1926, and other applicable regulations.

Collaborate with the Energy Marshal, commissioning teams, and operational leadership to align safety requirements with project goals.

Conduct regular audits, inspections, and verifications to confirm controls are effective and compliant.

Identify gaps and areas for improvement; develop and execute corrective actions.

Provide leadership and mentorship to regional and site‑based safety professionals.

Deliver or coordinate training related to commissioning safety, electrical hazard recognition, and emergency response.

Monitor and report on leading and lagging safety indicators; implement strategies to improve safety performance.

Represent safety in commissioning planning meetings, coordination reviews, and milestone walkdowns.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (required).

Master’s degree in a related discipline (preferred).

Minimum 7–10 years of experience in construction or commissioning safety roles.

Strong knowledge of electrical safety practices, including LOTO and arc flash protection.

Experience in high‑risk, large‑scale industrial or data center commissioning projects is highly desirable.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams, implement safety strategies, and influence stakeholder engagement.

Certifications

Certified Safety Professional (CSP) – preferred

OSHA 30‑Hour Construction or General Industry – required

NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Training – required

First Aid/CPR/AED Certification – preferred

Additional certifications such as CHST or CUSP – a plus

Legal & Regulatory Requirements

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required.

Must comply with federal, state, and local safety regulations.

Ability to maintain site safety documentation and support regulatory inspections.

Work Environment

Combination of office and field environments.

Exposure to live electrical systems and mechanical commissioning activities.

Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and work in various weather and site conditions.

Occasional weekend or evening work may be required based on project milestones.
