Responsibilities As the Director of Sales, you will oversee sales and marketing efforts within your assigned territory, developing and executing strategies to achieve pharmacy growth goals by nurturing existing leads, generating new opportunities, and enhancing community and professional awareness.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead business development initiatives consistent with the company’s overall growth strategy.
Develop sales and marketing plans to achieve growth goals for pharmacy services within assigned territory.
Generate new business leads via prospecting, networking, referrals, and follow‑up with all viable opportunities in a timely manner.
Keep abreast of industry and market changes to continually assess and evaluate growth opportunities and the need for product enhancement and/or development.
Attend industry conferences, trade shows and networking events to develop relationships.
Work closely with operations, clinical and account management teams to help manage customer relationships.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction with their services.
Assist with customer retention and contract renewals, as needed.
Understand key aspects of the company’s business lines to develop customer‑focused solutions designed to address customer‑specific needs.
Gather accurate data from potential clients that can be reviewed with operations, clinical, and finance teams for development of tailored solutions.
Complete routine sales activity reports, update prospect pipeline status, and communicate effectively to operations, clinical, finance, and management teams.
Achieve new business development quotas as assigned to reach sales goals for the assigned territory.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: 3-5 years
Licenses and Certifications: None Required
Physical Requirements Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co‑workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
