Pay : $20‑25 per hour (annual salary range $50,000‑$55,000)
Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Job Description Human Resource Generalist
at Automation Personnel Services. Key responsibilities include onboarding, employee relations, performance management, engagement initiatives, claims, investigations, leave, policy enforcement, rewards, onboarding/offboarding, daily HR functions, and cross‑departmental support.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR inquiries and employee support.
Manage employee relations including conflict resolution, coaching, and disciplinary processes (write‑ups/PIPs).
Oversee workers’ compensation claims, workplace accident investigations, and modified duty assignments.
Plan and execute employee engagement activities such as appreciation events and seasonal celebrations.
Administer and track performance reviews and assist leadership with performance management initiatives.
Manage all leave programs (FMLA, ADA, WC, STD) and maintain accurate leave tracking.
Interpret and enforce HR policies and procedures consistently and fairly.
Administer rewards and recognition programs to boost employee morale.
Support onboarding, offboarding, pay changes, ECRs, and other daily HR functions.
Provide operational and administrative HR support as needed across departments.
Qualifications and Requirements
2–5 years of HR generalist experience (preferred).
Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and compliance practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and HR documentation.
PHR or SHRM‑CP certification is a plus.
