Molex . Molex is growing the Optical Solutions Business Unit and seeks a growth‑minded leader to drive strategic choices and profitable growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Corporate Strategy to create and maintain Optical Connectivity Group viewpoints and next‑gen photonic POV for all product areas.
Partner with PLM to build pricing excellence tools, win/loss tracking, and value‑based pricing training.
Work with PLM and R&D to prioritize product development based on projected economic value added and build post‑mortem analysis processes.
Build a Service Provider business analysis model and run the financial side of the business to understand market prices, Molex costs, and product roadmap investments.
Drive consistent costing approaches across the unit, understanding cost pools and manufacturing processes.
Develop customer profitability views to support decision making.
Qualifications
Financial Planning and Analysis experience.
5+ years in a global strategic role with strong leadership, project management, and strategic planning skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience in Telecom, Datacom, or Medical Industry preferred.
20+ years of Fiber Optics experience preferred.
Experience using large data sets for process and product improvement.
Deep understanding of financial aspects of optical technology, including fiber optics, optoelectronics, connectors, and wavelength management.
Compensation For this role, we anticipate paying $150,000 – $220,000 per year. The position is eligible for variable pay issued as a monetary bonus.
