Corporate Security Officer – Framingham, MA (2nd Shift)
Corporate Security Officer, $19.00, Mon‑Fri, 2nd Shift – a full‑time security role at Securitas. The position involves safeguarding people, property and assets at client sites by monitoring premises, enforcing access controls, providing visible security presence and responding to incidents or emergencies. Responsibilities
Monitor security cameras and patrol assigned premises to detect any suspicious activity or safety hazards. Enforce access control policies, checking identification, issuing visitor passes and restricting access to authorized personnel only. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies or security incidents, including medical, fire or criminal activity, and report or liaise with law enforcement as needed. Document incidents and suspicious activity in clear, accurate reports for further action or investigation. Conduct foot or vehicle patrols of entrances, parking lots and perimeters, checking for unsecured doors, windows or gates. Provide customer service to visitors and employees, offering directions and answering inquiries with a professional demeanor. Inspect premises for safety hazards, fire risks or other conditions that could compromise safety. Handle minor disputes or disturbances, applying conflict resolution skills to maintain a calm environment. Collaborate closely with other security staff, law enforcement and emergency responders to coordinate security efforts and respond to incidents as needed. Qualifications
Excellent observational and de‑escalation skills; remain calm under pressure. Strong communication skills; work closely with global and local security teams. Committed to ethical practices and safety protocols, maintaining a safe and respectful approach. Intermediate computer skills required. Requirements
At least 18 years of age. Reliable means of communication and transportation. Legal right to work in the United States. Ability to effectively speak, read and write English. High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Benefits
