Managing Partner Job Description As the Managing Partner you will:

Shape the future of our practice and contribute to the firm’s continued growth.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture among attorneys and legal staff.

Lead business development efforts, working closely with Firm Founder to grow our practice in different jurisdictions.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, leveraging a solid book of business.

Ensure the highest standards of legal practice, ethics and client-focused service are upheld.

This role requires a seasoned attorney with deep expertise in law practice, client development and management —who is motivated to help expand the firm’s presence and reputation.

YOU ARE:

A licensed attorney with at least 10 years’ experience in law and in managing senior personnel.

A natural leader. You take initiative and are not afraid of difficult conversations.

Action-oriented with a sense of urgency for accomplishing goals.

A clear communicator who speaks plain-English (legalese only when necessary).

Conscientious and highly accountable.

A problem solver. You find solutions and improve efficiency.

An accomplished rainmaker, with a portable book of business of at least $750,000.

Enthusiastic, energetic, and confident. You’ve got this.

Responsive and proactive. You keep those that need-to-know well-informed.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WOULD:

Lead and elevate our lawyers and participate on our Leadership Team.

Oversee attorney performance and KPIs. Ensure attorney alignment with Core Values.

Develop and enforce accountability measures.

Ensure workload is properly distributed, considering expertise and capacity.

Handle client communication and satisfaction of work product.

Assist with recruiting A-Player attorneys and staff.

Total Compensation – $350,000 – $750,000 (based on experience, book of business, and performance).
