Job Title
Manager, Tax - iTaxTech E-Invoicing
Overview At KPMG you will join a dynamic team within one of the world’s leading tax firms. You will work on high‑profile engagements, collaborate with specialists across the KPMG network, and help clients understand, analyze, and respond to complex tax opportunities and challenges.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent client‑facing service to multinational companies in relation to global indirect tax reporting needs, including e‑invoicing, digital reporting, and more.
Lead end‑to‑end project implementations with native ERP solutions or third‑party vendors, including transaction analysis, regulatory analysis, business requirements analysis, system readiness assessments, and vendor selection projects.
Prepare and deliver global tax reporting training presentations aimed at external and internal audiences.
Aid external vendor relationships with key business partners.
Support practice marketing and business development efforts; assist in preparing responses to client proposal requests.
Assist Tax Leadership in engagement administration, engagement management, and client billing.
Identify and develop new and existing client relationships and internal relationships.
Qualifications
Minimum five years of recent experience implementing indirect tax technology solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related course of study from an accredited college/university.
Prior experience with SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday, and/or similar ERP applications (specifically for tax including AP/PO, A/R, and/or G/L modules).
Experience with tax technology solutions such as Edicom, Sovos, Vertex, SAP DRC, Pagero, and/or other technology solutions.
Deep understanding of e‑invoicing processes, systems, and global compliance requirements.
Understanding of key indirect tax processes and data drivers while possessing a broad industry background including retail, financial services, manufacturing, and telecommunications.
