Overview

Wrap-Up Construction Claims Specialist (OCIP/CCIP) to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving complex General Liability claims arising from construction projects covered under OCIP/CCIP programs. This position offers a hybrid work environment with flexibility for remote work for exceptional candidates. Compensation Package

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications) Bonus: Up to 10% of annual base salary, paid out annually Responsibilities

Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex General Liability claims related to OCIP/CCIP construction projects. Analyze contracts, policy forms, and wrap-up program agreements to determine coverage and defense obligations. Manage both litigated and pre-litigated claims, collaborating with defense counsel to develop effective resolution strategies. Work closely with brokers, risk managers, and internal stakeholders to ensure claims are handled in line with best practices and service standards. Evaluate liability and damages exposure, set accurate reserves, and approve settlements within authority levels. Identify and mitigate potential coverage and indemnity issues involving insureds, subcontractors, and additional insureds. Provide feedback to underwriting and risk control teams regarding claim trends, loss drivers, and program performance. Maintain clear documentation, reporting, and communication with all involved parties. Manage a caseload of 125-140 claims, with approximately 50% involving litigation. Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; CPCU, AIC, or JD preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience handling construction and general liability claims, with at least 1 year of direct Wrap-Up (OCIP/CCIP) experience. Strong technical expertise in construction defect, bodily injury, and property damage claims. Solid understanding of contractual risk transfer, indemnification agreements, and additional insured coverage. Proven experience managing complex litigation and coordinating defense strategies. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to independently manage a high-volume, complex caseload. Job Details
