Principal Chief Aircraft Inspector

At Northrop Grumman Technical Services, we are seeking an aircraft mechanic to function as a Quality Control Inspector for our deployed OCONUS location. The candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Perform deployed quality control duties on Bombardier BD-700 Global Express (USAF E-11A) aircraft.
Ensure final inspections are properly performed on all work completed and return aircraft to service in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance of FAA and Government Ground Operating Procedures.
Determine requirements to conduct post‑maintenance check flights/functional check flights and provide inspection criteria interpretation to maintenance staff.
Assist in maintaining current technical library & applicable aircraft forms & records.
Conduct Weight & Balance on all assigned aircraft and complete all appropriate documentation.
Function as site data analyst & technical/compliance documentation administrator.
Maintain logbook, CUP, and Corridor log entries and other quality records.
Other quality control functions as assigned (audits, metrics data, tech pub revisions, receiving inspections, etc.).
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 5 years aircraft maintenance experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Possession of a U.S. Passport.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
Knowledge of FAA Airworthiness requirements.
FAA Operator and Military Maintenance experience.
Pass a general medical physical including HIV test and TB‑tine check.
Preferred Qualifications
Bombardier BD‑700 Global Express aircraft experience.
FAA Inspection Authorization.
3 years Quality Control Inspector experience.
Rolls‑Royce BR‑710 engine experience.
10 years transport category or corporate aircraft experience.
Special Mission aircraft experience.
DoD maintenance program experience.
Salary Range
– $1.00 – $1.00 (general guideline; actual range based on scope, responsibilities, experience, etc.)
