The Corporate Partnerships Coordinator will join a 16-person Marketing & Development team, raising approximately $15 million annually from individual donors, foundations and institutions, corporate sponsors, and government to support our free programs in New York City parks. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Partnerships and supporting the Manager of Corporate Partnerships, the Coordinator will support a portfolio of approximately $3.5 million in corporate giving. The position will work with corporate partners in all CPF program areas (arts, sports, environmental education, and community building), with a deeper focus on our SummerStage festival and It’s My Park corporate volunteer program.

The role will also coordinate the day-to-day management of corporate donors, cultivate and increase corporate support, develop proposals and presentations, broaden awareness of corporate opportunities, and develop and activate a cultivation plan to grow corporate partner support for CPF. This position will work closely with executing SummerStage corporate partnerships (approximately 70 events per season), in advance and on-site at events across the city during the festival season, and work closely with the corporate It’s My Park portfolio (nearly 150 projects annually) working alongside the program's Volunteer Team. The role will help oversee seasonal staff.

Compensation Commensurate with experience and can range from $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 annually

Responsibilities

Assist with the management of CPF’s corporate fundraising portfolio of approximately $3.5 million in corporate partners, including tracking and executing all contract benefits, partner relations, and communications

Support the Director and Manager of Corporate Partnerships and work with colleagues across CPF to cultivate plans for broader funding opportunities

Proactively support team through pitching sponsorships, creating proposals and presentations, securing corporate funders, and client reports

Support partner activations at onsite events, assist with sponsor logistics and serve as lead on-site representative for all client activations (including days, nights, and weekends) throughout CPF events across NYC

Support donor cultivation and stewardship events to grow the corporate It’s My Park volunteer program

Support fundraising events as needed

Collaborate with the Marketing Department and program teams on tracking and execution of partnerships, activations, and fulfilling client sponsorship benefits

Collaborate with the It’s My Park Corporate Program Manager and relevant team members on corporate volunteer service projects throughout the city

Assist with overseeing summer seasonal staff

Prepare and submit timely invoices and acknowledgment letters

Use Salesforce database to grow corporate database, track the corporate fundraising portfolio and diligently record all payments

Additional fundraising and administrative work as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a combination of sponsorship, marketing, fundraising, project management, and client services required, with an understanding of CSR trends and nonprofit work

Proven ability to prioritize and work effectively under deadlines

Highly motivated, resilient, flexible, and proactive with a strong desire to collaborate

Meticulous attention to detail and process, thoroughness, and focus while managing a high-pressure, fast-paced environment and working under strict deadlines

Exceptional research, organizational, oral, and written communications skills

Excellent time and project management skills, and ability to work independently

Ability to work with diverse constituencies, both internal and external to CPF, NYC Parks, and corporations

Interest in learning about and cultivating corporate donors, community engagement, and philanthropic relationships

Experience with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis

Ideally passionate about performing arts, culture, sports, environmental education, community building, or some combination

Familiarity with Google Suite, Salesforce, or other CRM systems is a plus

Willingness to occasionally work outdoors, year-round, but particularly during summer, in sometimes uncomfortable weather conditions

Availability to independently travel across the five NYC boroughs and work evenings and weekends as needed
