Senior AI Software Developer (ChemBio Informatics) , where you’ll play a pivotal role in integrating advanced AI capabilities into our Signals Notebook product. This is your chance to shape the future of AI-driven tools in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Main Functions
Design and implement scalable AI infrastructure to support the Signals Notebook product
Develop and integrate AI-driven features that enhance user experience and functionality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize AI opportunities
Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of AI systems
Stay ahead of industry trends and bring innovative AI solutions to the table
Responsibilities
Help design and implement solutions, working closely with peers and management, ensuring solutions fit into our strategic vision
Work closely with UX and product management on implementing product features
Participate in all team activities such as design discussions, code reviews, and software development
Work effectively with other team members to provide a quality product for our customers
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 6+ years of experience
2-4+ years of experience in designing and implementing AI features, including building applications powered by LLMs
3-5+ years programming experience in Python and Java
2-4+ years of skills with distributed execution frameworks like Dask, Spark, Ray, or similar
2-4+ years of knowledge in emerging technologies and trends in AI/ML, Cloud Computing, Data Science, Big Data, and Cyber Security
3+ years experience with AWS
Preferred Qualifications
BS/MS Computer Science or equivalent
Experience with ChemBio Informatics preferred
Expert building large scale, high-availability applications desired
Experience as a full stack developer a plus
Experience with open-source technologies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Must be able to communicate effectively with other team members
Creative problem-solving skills
