Responsibilities

Positioning & Messaging

Define the brand and product story that differentiates AlterMe in the fitness and health‑tech landscape.

Develop compelling messaging frameworks for our DNA‑based fitness plans, app experiences, and hardware.

Deliver messaging and content that performs, increasing funnel performance and decreasing customer acquisition costs.

Lead go‑to‑market positioning for new features and product launches.

Storytelling & Creative Direction

Partner with creative and content teams to bring the AlterMe story to life across digital, video, and physical experiences.

Translate scientific and technical concepts into simple, powerful, emotionally resonant communication.

Ensure all marketing touchpoints reflect a cohesive and inspiring brand voice.

Product Marketing & Packaging

Oversee how AlterMe’s products are presented — including packaging, unboxing, and digital onboarding experiences.

Craft the narrative and materials that communicate benefits clearly and persuasively to our target audience.

Collaborate with Product and Growth teams to align messaging with customer insights and data.

Market Insights & Competitive Strategy

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform positioning and narrative direction.

Stay ahead of cultural and industry trends that influence how people engage with wellness and personalization.

Revenue Ownership

Deliver e‑commerce revenue growth, hitting aggressive acquisition and retention targets.

Monitor and report on key marketing KPIs, CAC, ROAS, and LTV.

Qualifications

8+ years in product marketing, brand strategy, or related consumer marketing roles.

Proven ability to develop breakthrough product narratives and launch strategies that drive engagement and conversion.

Experience with consumer brands, ideally in health, wellness, fitness, or tech.

Deep understanding of how to communicate the emotional and functional benefits of a product.

Strong collaboration skills — works seamlessly with creative, product, and growth teams.

Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities.

The ideal hire is based in the Salt Lake City metro area and can regularly work from the Lehi, UT office, but is considered remote for highly qualified candidates.
