Position Overview The Solution Consultant defines, delivers and supports Direct‑to‑Dealer software solutions. With a focus on TrafficView, the role contributes to new product development and activation of customer implementations. Back‑end system management and platform support are key responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, technical fluency and a passion for solving real‑world dealership challenges.

Hybrid workplace flexibility is available local to our Detroit, MI office. Candidates must be available to work in‑person three days per week.

Product Strategy & Development

Assist in managing product roadmaps in collaboration with Product Leadership and Development teams.

Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements, user stories and use cases.

Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning and scrum ceremonies.

Conduct competitive research and assess UI/UX enhancements.

Partner with Solution Managers to ensure product‑market fit and end‑user value.

Client Implementation & Support

Support client onboarding, configuration and activation processes.

Coordinate with third‑party vendors to manage integrations and ensure system health.

Act as the primary escalation point for implementation and integration issues.

Perform QA/QC checks and monitor product performance post‑launch.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Facilitate communication between stakeholders, developers and customer‑facing teams.

Create and maintain documentation, job aids and ways of working.

Support internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) with product knowledge and analytical support.

Provide advanced support and issue resolution for assigned solutions.

Analytics & Continuous Improvement

Analyze data to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Track KPIs, manage system alerts, identify root causes and support fixes/enhancements.

Identify and implement process improvements and technical enhancements.

Requirements

Technical/Software knowledge and time management.

Strategic influence and sales/business development aptitude.

BS degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

3–5 years of experience in product management, business analysis or solution consulting.

Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile development.

Experience with requirements management tools, mockup/prototype tools and process flow diagrams.

Experience managing or building a reporting or financial software system.

Proficiency in Excel, SQL and familiarity with APIs, HTML and CRMs.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical, data and critical thinking abilities.

Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple priorities.
