ABOUT THE ROLE We are currently seeking an experienced
Electrical Construction Superintendent
to lead and coordinate all on-site activities for electrical installations and system maintenance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on electrical experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, direct, and coordinate personnel and activities related to electrical system installation and maintenance.
Supervise and direct electrical work to meet deadlines and ensure compliance with contract documents.
Lead by example and enforce quality control and safety standards.
Study job specifications and blueprints to determine construction methods and requirements.
Prepare and submit Jobsite Safety Analysis (JSA), Jobsite Hazard Analysis (JHA), and safety reports.
Track project schedules and forecast manpower needs using two‑week look‑ahead plans.
Manage and request tools, materials, and supplies.
Track and complete weekly timesheets via iPad or computer tablet.
Coordinate with subcontractors for specialized tasks (e.g., fire alarm, nurse call).
Oversee and assign work to electricians, apprentices, helpers, and temporary workers.
Collaborate with trade partners, management, and contractors to resolve field issues.
Provide input and supervise Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes.
Train workers in methods, safety, equipment operation, and company procedures.
Fulfill responsibilities of a licensed electrician as needed on the job.
Maintain basic computer proficiency for documentation and communication.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) –
Required
4–10 years of related experience OR equivalent knowledge and experience in electrical construction
OSHA 30 certification –
Required
Experience as an Electrical Construction Superintendent –
Minimum 1 year
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed Electrician –
Preferred
Valid Driver’s License –
Preferred
