Senior Dry Etch Process Engineer – Boise, ID
Micron Technology is a world leader in memory and storage solutions. Micron is investing $15 billion to build a new semiconductor manufacturing facility in Boise. We are looking for passionate professionals to join this expansion team.
Responsibilities
Start up, develop, and optimize dry etch processes to improve product quality.
Drive process yield improvements, cost reductions, and productivity enhancements.
Collaborate with equipment, integration, and production teams to resolve line issues.
Use project management skills to meet milestones that close yield, defectivity, production, and cost gaps.
Drive improvements across all SPC charts that you own.
Minimum Required Qualifications
5+ years of industry experience as a Process Owner within Dry Etch.
B.S. or M.S. in an engineering field, or equivalent military experience.
Willingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training purposes.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Strong communication skills and collaborative teamwork.
Proficient in data science and programming skills.
