You will foster collaboration across IT, manufacturing, industrial engineering, infrastructure engineering, and construction teams to ensure launch plans are well‑defined and delivered against aggressive program goals. You will lead technical deep dives into facility layout designs and infrastructure system options, while ensuring all development aligns with Tesla's core principles. Additionally, you will identify program dependencies, risks, and gaps in information, distilling complex data into actionable messages and plans. Success in this role requires the ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels, from senior leaders to junior staff, to advance project objectives.

Own cross‑functional design reviews (2D and 3D) and engineering management of change for the program

Support funding requests, construction administration, and project status reporting on progress, actions, and risks

Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in factory engineering development and drive their implementation

What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s Degree in architecture, civil, mechanical, process/chemical, structural, or electrical engineering or equivalent experience

Experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams within Architectural/Engineering firms or design‑build firms

Experience leading engineering for complex infrastructure (i.e., Manufacturing, Semiconductor, Data Center, Central Plant systems) is a major plus

Full understanding of all engineering disciplines and ability to demonstrate skills to manage engineering resources

Proven record in delivery of IFB, IFP and IFC packages

Excellent communication skills with ability to understand complex topics/problems and distill the message clearly
