A larger government contractor is looking to bring on a strong Procurement Admin III to their team! This opportunity is 100% remote and is contract to hire. Government Contracting and Deltek Costpoint experience required.

Overview We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated procurement professional to support a variety of complex procurement activities. The ideal candidate will operate with minimal supervision while adhering to established policies and procedures. This role is responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services across multiple programs. Strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders are key to success in this position.

Responsibilities

Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams, program operations, and other stakeholders to align procurement activities with organizational needs.

Serve as a liaison between operations and cross-functional teams to ensure procurement priorities and program objectives are met.

Implement and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company standards.

Conduct market research and analyze data to stay informed on industry trends, pricing, and supplier performance.

Participate in the preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and bid packages.

Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, price, and delivery performance.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to achieve best value while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Develop and implement creative solutions to address complex procurement challenges.

Execute procurement actions within an approved CPSR-compliant environment, ensuring complete and accurate documentation for purchase orders, proposals, negotiations, statements of work, and required flow-down clauses.

Process purchase requisitions to purchase orders in

Deltek Costpoint

in accordance with company policies.

Maintain detailed records of goods and services ordered and received.

Monitor vendor performance, track deliverables, and follow up on late or incomplete deliveries.
