Overview

Our Accounts Receivable team plays an important role in maintaining strong financial systems and delivering exceptional service to our guests and departments. The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely disbursement of group and miscellaneous billings, as well as issuing monthly statements and posting for membership/owner accounts. The Accounts Receivable Clerk is also responsible for professionally corresponding to past guests in regards to billing challenges and posting payments, as well as issuing all gift certificates/cards.

Responsibilities
Responsible for assigned group and catering billings & collections on accounts, including deposits
Work with the Sales & Catering teams to complete group file turns and process credit applications and deposits
Responsible for issuance of gift certificates and gift cards
Posts payments and charges in Springer Miller and TRACK property management systems
Maintain internal accounting ledgers
Processes A/R reports for Resort
Answers and resolves all guest calls regarding billing challenges
Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events
Interacts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information
Always maintains a professional demeanor and attitude
Communicates all pertinent information to the Accounting team
Maintains a professional appearance. Follows all Sunriver Resort dress code standards
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Hospitality or Accounting degree preferred
Prior hospitality and customer service experience preferred
Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written
Must be highly detailed orientated
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must possess excellent communication skills
Must always ensure a teamwork environment
Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently.
Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis.
While primarily an indoor job, must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat).
Must be able to climb stairs occasionally, both indoors and outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat).
