Responsibilities

Assist with didactic and practical training of formal Mayo Clinic School of Health Science education programs and allied health staff education needs within the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology. Assist with the development and implementation of lectures using research and best practice information. Maintain competency in both inpatient and outpatient lab service technician related skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and two years of experience in Laboratory Services or a two‑year degree in health‑related sciences with experience in phlebotomy.

Additional Skills and Qualifications

Effective oral, written, listening and coaching skills coupled with didactic and "hands on" teaching skills are essential. Good human relation skills are necessary.

License or Certification

Phlebotomy certification required.

Compensation Detail

$19.05 – $25.92 / hour. Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
