About the Job:
Talent Core is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator for an immediate-start project in St. Petersburg, FL. This project involves upgrading security systems, underground lines, and existing infrastructure around a substation. We’re looking for a dependable operator with experience on large commercial, industrial, civil, or high-voltage job sites.

Responsibilities:

• Operate excavator for digging and trenching in and around a substation (no shoring, grading, or sloping required).
• Prepare sites for new foundations.
• Assist with concrete work as needed, including pouring, forming, and finishing.
• Ensure safety and precision while excavating near high-voltage systems.

Preferred Experience:

• Excavation work on high-voltage construction projects.
• Digging or trenching for electrical contractors.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• 100% cotton and/or fire-resistant clothing and PPE must be worn on site (no polyester due to substation safety requirements).
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Must have reliable transportation.
