Responsibilities

Alan B. Miller Medical Center is opening in Spring 2026. The new state‑of‑the‑art hospital will join UHS’ growing regional network of healthcare operations. The campus will feature 150 private patient rooms, a medical office building, a helistop, and 365,000 square feet of hospital and medical office space. Comprehensive medical services will include Emergency Care, Orthopedics and Surgical Services, Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Oncology, Cardiovascular and Neurosurgical services.

• Manages the recruitment and selection process for assigned exempt and non‑exempt positions, including development and implementation of recruitment plans and metrics.
• Directly posts, sources passive candidates, negotiates salary, and closes candidates.
• Develops recruitment techniques, strategies and action plans to efficiently cover workload.
• Maintains a selection and interview system in accordance with state and federal laws, EEO regulations and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or Health Care related field from an accredited college or university required.
• HR (SPHR, HRCI) or HR specialty certification desired.

Experience

• Minimum three (3) years full‑cycle recruitment experience required; two years health care experience preferred.

Skills

• Ability to build strong relationships with candidates and customers, resulting in fulfillment of talent acquisition needs.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent computer skills including advanced ATS proficiency, strong HRIS, MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Sensitivity in handling confidential information.
• Demonstrated ability to develop recruitment plans and research and resolve complex recruitment issues.
