BAM’s Campus team is responsible for recruiting best-in-class intern and grad level talent globally across our investment, data, technology and business and operations teams. We are seeking an experienced, ambitious, and intellectually curious Campus Recruiter to join the Campus team in our New York or Chicago office.

The Campus Recruiter plays an integral role in shaping the future of BAM by identifying and engaging top-tier early career talent to join our teams. Your hiring impact will drive cutting edge projects and promote longer-term success within our teams. Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement creative and impactful strategies to attract, engage and hire high potential early in careers talent
  • Advise and influence hiring strategies and decisions by staying informed on industry and technology trends and the competitive hiring landscapes
  • Provide a high touch and world class experience for candidates and hiring teams by managing a seamless recruitment lifecycle from candidate sourcing through the offer stage
  • Partner on internship and in-house program planning
  • Leverage data to make informed decisions and measure the impact of your work
  • Willingness and excitement to travel across the domestic states to attend campus events and represent Balyasny Asset Management

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic track record
  • 3-5 years of recruiting coordination and recruiting experience, preferably within campus recruiting
  • Passion for engaging with and hiring early in careers technical talent
  • Excellent relationship building skills to form trusted partnerships with candidates, university partners, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to multi-task, pivot seamlessly on shifting needs, and prioritize time effectively to complete projects within deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate needs and proactively take direction to drive solutions
  • Excellent analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and exceptional follow-through
  • Knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel required; knowledge of PowerPoint a plus
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking System is required
