Lotus Company is hiring: Accounting Manager in Salt Lake City

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Manager with strong Yardi experience to lead our finance team. This role is essential to maintaining the financial integrity of our diverse portfolio, supporting strategic initiatives, and ensuring compliance across our real estate operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including staff supervision and workflow management.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple entities.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting using Yardi Voyager for property-level accounting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and strategic initiatives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Coordinate audits and tax preparation with external CPAs and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or managerial roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Yardi Voyager is required.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, multi-entity accounting, and financial reporting.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor accounting staff.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment.
