Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounting Assistant in Lafayette, LA. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with financial reporting. Day-to-day tasks include managing bookkeeping, handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and using accounting software to input and analyze data. The role also involves supporting the finance team in preparing financial statements.

  • Experience in Accounting and Finance
  • Proficiency with Accounting Software
  • Skilled in Bookkeeping and managing Financial Statements
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team and independently
  • Prior experience in the construction industry is a plus
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Bachelor's degree is preferred
