BetheUnitSecretaryyoualwayswantedtobe

• Maintaincompleteandaccuratemedicalrecordsforpatientsusingappropriatelabelingsystem.
• Maintaincompleteandaccuratemedicalrecordsforpatientsusingappropriatelabelingsystem.
• Accurately/efficientlytranscribemedicalordersanddistributestootherdisciplinesasneeded.
• Actasahelpfulresourceforpatients,families,physicians,andvisitorsatthenursingstation.
• Coordinateunitoperationstooptimizethedeliveryofsafepatientcare.
• Scheduletests,appointmentsandtransportationasneededinatimelymanner.
• Serveasaliaisonforinquiries,directingthemtotheappropriatepersonforresolution.

Qualifications

• CPRcertificationpreferred.
• Oneyearofinpatientunitsecretaryexperiencepreferred.
• Active enrollment in a healthcare program (such as nursing), familiarity with medical terminology,andexperienceinreadingandtranscribingmedicalordersarepreferred.
