We are seeking a Manufacturing Associate to support clinical manufacturing operations at a cGMP facility focused on plasmids, viral vectors, and autologous cell therapies. This position plays a key role in supporting facility start-up, technology transfer, and day-to-day GMP manufacturing activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams including Process Sciences, Vector Sciences, and MSAT.

Responsibilities

• Support facility qualification and start-up activities in partnership with technical and quality teams
• Execute clinical manufacturing processes in a cGMP environment, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational efficiency
• Assist in the development and implementation of GMP procedures for manufacturing operations
• Perform equipment maintenance, cleaning, calibration, and maintain production areas to GMP standards
• Complete and review GMP documentation accurately and on time
• Participate in technology transfer and continuous improvement projects
• Maintain training compliance and support implementation of new technologies and systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field
• 0–2 years of experience in a GMP biopharmaceutical environment (cell therapy, viral vector, mammalian or microbial systems preferred)
• Familiarity with GMP regulations, quality systems (e.g., Deviations, CAPAs, Change Management), and manufacturing procedures
• Experience with cell therapy, mammalian cell culture, or microbial fermentation
• Understanding of equipment troubleshooting, risk identification, and root cause analysis
