Role Summary:
The Senior Manager, Global Contract Operations is a strategic leader within the Legal Operations team, responsible for overseeing contract administration and operations across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. This role manages a high‑performing global team, driving operational excellence and optimizing contract management through advanced AI‑enabled technologies. Responsibilities
Oversee the contract administration process from negotiation to execution. Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions. Manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations. Review and approve contract drafts to ensure accuracy and consistency. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve contract‑related issues. Provide guidance on contract risk management and mitigation strategies. Maintain organized records of all contracts and related documentation. Monitor contract performance and enforce obligations as needed. Standardize contract templates, approval flows, documentation, and signature protocols globally. Align with stakeholders (Legal, Procurement, Sales, Treasury, Finance) on process improvements, policy updates, and technology enhancements. Maintain compliance with Signature Authority & Contract Management Policies. Oversee all approval, execution, and signature policy standards, maintaining global consistency and training for commercial legal agreements. Establish, monitor, and maintain robust service level agreements (SLAs) for all key contract operations processes. Communicate policy and process updates to all stakeholder groups and legal teams. Identify and mitigate risks or compliance gaps, collaborating with relevant teams for remediation. Maintain accurate, updated records in centralized contract management systems ensuring robust document retention and data integrity. Serve as primary contact for both internal and external stakeholders regarding contract status, escalations, and inquiries. Build and maintain cross‑functional relationships across Legal, Sales, IT, Engineering, and external providers to resolve challenges and drive objectives. Generate and deliver executive‑level reports on contract performance, cycle times, risks, opportunities, and AI adoption in contract execution. Lead business initiatives to optimize contract operations, improve cycle times, providing actionable insights and user experience. Re‑design and optimize contracting workflows to increase efficiency from intake to execution, including clause analysis, automated redlining, risk scoring, and playbook‑guided negotiations. Lead, develop, and mentor the Contract Administration & Operations team globally, ensuring excellence across contracting administrative processes from request intake, triaging, approvals, signatures, process improvements, template and playbook management, ALSP oversight. Directly oversee day‑to‑day operations of contract management systems, including the administration, intake, and execution of contract requests via existing and new platforms (e.g., Apttus, Salesforce, Knowable and Sirion). Manage escalations from various contract intake queues, including legal admin, self‑service requests (e.g., NDAs), and sales/attorney requests. Serve as a point of escalation and provide guidance to employees and attorneys on commercial legal queries, contracts workflows, and document retrievals (including regulatory and audit inquiries). Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, or related field. Experience: 7+ years in contract management, legal operations, or commercial law with demonstrated experience in technology‑driven contracting process transformation. Contracting Acumen: Extensive experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, with strong knowledge of contract law. Technical Expertise: Proven track record of leveraging CLM systems with AI‑powered contracting features to accelerate contract execution and suggest areas of improvement to the contracting platform. Project Leadership: Strong program management skills, with experience delivering large‑scale cross‑functional initiatives on time and on budget with limited resources. Global Mindset: Experience managing multi‑region teams and navigating complex, matrixed organizations and building solutions with global mindset. Analytical Skills: Data‑driven approach to decision‑making with the ability to interpret metrics, identify trends, and propose solutions. Communication Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to influence at the executive level. Preferred
JD or equivalent legal qualification is strongly preferred. Legal qualification and prior practice experience in commercial, technology, or corporate law. Experience in payments, fintech, or other highly regulated industries. Knowledge of emerging AI applications in legal and contracting domains. Benefits

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $111,500 to $191,950. Actual compensation may include an annual performance bonus, equity, and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits. EEO
