Position Summary The successful General Manager will be responsible for managing the sales, service & parts department, new machine sales department, store operations, staff, P&L, market penetration, and activities for the CASE dealership.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead the Parts & Service Manager and Sales Department in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Develop business opportunities, increase market penetration, and manage store P&L responsibilities.
Enhance service and parts department customer support to drive company growth.
Build and support a dynamic new machine sales department to increase market share.
Maintain strong business relationships and call on key accounts.
Recruit, mentor, and develop employees to align with company goals, mission, and values.
Ensure all company procedures are implemented and followed.
Review customer receivables and ensure compliance with company accounts receivable and collections policies.
Monitor store performance metrics, proactively address challenges, and implement corrective action plans.
Maintain positive and professional relationships with employees, other stores, and manufacturers.
Travel regularly to customer and prospective client locations to promote business and maintain relationships.
Follow all Auto and Equipment Safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments.
Perform other duties as assigned by management in alignment with dealership objectives.
Qualifications
5 years experience as a GM
Proven leadership experience in managing multiple departments, including sales, service, and parts.
Strong business development skills with a track record of increasing market share and profitability.
Ability to recruit, mentor, and lead high-performing teams.
Solid understanding of financial performance metrics and P&L management.
Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Must be over 21 years of age.
Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License for company driving purposes.
