First Shift Forklift Operator

Position Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator! In this role, you will operate powered industrial trucks to efficiently load and unload materials, ensuring smooth operations between storage areas, machines, and delivery docks.
Responsibilities
Retrieve production schedules or shipping orders and transport materials or equipment to designated areas within the facility.
Provide raw or warehouse stock to production machines according to the production schedule.
Load and unload goods from incoming and outgoing vehicles with care.
Move goods packed on pallets or slip sheets around the storage facility, maximizing space and organization.
Stack goods in the correct storage bays while adhering to inventory control instructions.
Ensure loads are secure before transportation.
Efficiently stack empty pallets.
Conduct daily equipment checks on forklifts in compliance with OSHA guidelines.
Remove machine attachments and waste material from equipment as needed.
Examine products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Dump materials into machine hoppers for processing.
Perform any other duties that may be assigned to support operations.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Strong math, language, and reading skills; basic computer skills may be beneficial.
High attention to detail to ensure a safe working environment.
Ability to follow equipment operation instructions and keep accurate records.
Execute tasks in a timely, accurate, and safe manner.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Experience using an RF scanner gun may be required.
A clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator's license may be necessary.
Forklift certification in accordance with OSHA standards is required.
