Our client is seeking a dynamic

Social Media Manager

to lead strategy and execution across its suite of social platforms. The role will drive meaningful business outcomes by elevating the brand’s social presence and ensuring it remains relevant, innovative, and engaging. You will collaborate closely with editorial, marketing, and content teams to build strong audience connections across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, and beyond. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a forward-thinking social media strategy aligned with business goals and marketing objectives. Partner with editorial teams to shape a content strategy rooted in best practices and real-time relevance. Manage social communications during critical weather events such as hurricanes, winter storms, and wildfires. Oversee the planning and execution of social media content across formats (text, video, infographics) and content types (forecasts, weather education, viral trends). Maintain a strategic content calendar and ensure consistent, timely posting. Experiment with content and platform strategies to stay ahead of trends and audience preferences. Use data and performance insights to adjust strategies, inform decisions, and improve campaign effectiveness. Monitor performance against KPIs (followers, engagement, impressions, clicks) and iterate accordingly. Engage with followers to foster an active and supportive online community. Monitor social conversations and brand mentions to ensure appropriate responses and participation. Stay current on pop culture, digital trends, and new platform capabilities to ensure a fresh and engaging brand presence. Lead social team experiments and help translate learnings into new approaches. Perform other duties as needed to support evolving team and business needs. What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience managing social media for a brand or media entity, with a strong record of results. Deep understanding of social platforms including Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Reddit. Expertise in social analytics and management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, and Google Analytics. Experience executing paid social campaigns and managing performance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Creative thinker with the ability to tie storytelling to business impact. Comfortable operating in an agile, fast-moving environment with a test‑and‑learn mindset. Strong collaboration, presentation, and leadership skills. Legally authorized to work in the U.S. Benefits
