Bridgehead IT is looking for a
DevOps Engineer IV
to design secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure across Azure and AWS and to build efficient, automated pipelines and monitoring systems. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, mentorship, and proactive problem solving.
Key Responsibilities
Design and support multi‑cloud infrastructures in Azure and AWS that deliver security, scalability, and reliability.
Develop CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and monitoring systems that eliminate inefficiency.
Troubleshoot complex issues and create long‑lasting solutions.
Guide junior and mid‑level engineers and raise the bar for technical execution.
Design and manage Docker and Kubernetes environments at enterprise scale.
Document architectures, standards, and processes that others can trust.
Collaborate with development, security, and operations to embed DevOps principles in everything delivered.
Stay ahead of emerging technologies and apply them with purpose.
Lead on‑call rotations and protect stability and client trust.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of DevOps, cloud engineering, or related experience.
Deep knowledge of AWS and Azure platforms.
Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Hands‑on infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
Advanced expertise with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Skilled in managing both Linux and Windows environments.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, and CompTIA Cloud+.
