The Opportunity As a Cybersecurity Architect at Booz Allen, you’ll support the program management of a suite of cybersecurity tools, deliver a Zero Trust Architecture roadmap, and develop an Enterprise Integration Strategy for Modernization, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) capabilities. You’ll coordinate work with in-house teams, subcontractors, and industry partners to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customers’ IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. You’ll investigate new techniques, break free from legacy models, and align solutions to balance security and mission needs. This role is vital to help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices such as SIEM, SOAR, CI, CD, endpoint security management, and advanced analytics. You’ll broaden your skill set into Zero Trust Architecture, AI/ML-informed response, automation and orchestration of security events, and Cloud-based security while building peace of mind in critical infrastructure.

Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience supporting IT projects and activities, Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience supporting IT projects and activities, or 9+ years of experience supporting IT projects and activities in lieu of a degree
DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification
IASAE Level I Certification
Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Cybersecurity Service Provider - Infrastructure Support Certification such as CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND Certification, prior to start date
Nice If You Have
Experience with data classification standards, including controls in U.S. government environments and classified data handling
Experience defining security requirements, security assessments, and security recommendations using industry standards as reference models
Knowledge of Zero Trust principles, frameworks, and implementation strategies
Knowledge of Agile, ITSM, DevSecOps, and change management processes
Knowledge of IaC and CaC, CI and CD, AI and ML, and Secure Software Development Lifecycle concepts
Possession of excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and verbal and written communication skills

Compensation Our benefits include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, as well as paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work-life programs, and dependent care. Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Salary for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
