Salary Base pay range: $40.08/hr - $61.19/hr
Overview Uses analytical, technical, and problem‑solving skills to support, maintain, and optimize the
Workday Financials
system. Partners with Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and IT stakeholders to ensure financial processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with organizational needs. Hands‑on experience with Workday Finance configuration, focusing on modules General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Grants, Projects, and Expenses. Provides best practice guidance, resolves system issues, and delivers solutions that support the mission of providing exceptional healthcare services. Business consulting experience needed for best practice solutions and advice to Finance, Supply Chain, and other clients when designing, implementing, and maintaining modules within Workday.
Ideal Candidate A proactive and technically skilled Workday Finance Analyst with hands‑on experience in the Workday financial system.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree. Six years of relevant experience may substitute for degree.
Workday Finance certification(s).
Experience with healthcare ERP/EHR integrations (e.g., Workday with Epic).
Familiarity with CMS reporting requirements and nonprofit finance standards.
Prior experience in healthcare organizations.
Responsibilities
Provide consulting support to Finance stakeholders on Workday Financials functionality and optimization.
Act as a primary point of contact for system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of Workday Finance issues impacting daily operations.
Configure and support Workday Finance modules, including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Procurement, Grants, Projects, and Expenses.
Advise Finance stakeholders on business process design possibilities, risks, and best practice solutions.
Support partnership with PHS Analytics Organization by defining and validating business requirements, translating data dictionaries, and approving access to raw data required to implement solutions.
Support Finance Information Systems through bi‑annual and other Workday update releases by coordinating testing, validating outcomes, and ensuring smooth adoption of new features.
Evaluate and transform data from source systems to create desired outputs and reporting that can be leveraged downstream.
Contribute to the development of Functional Design Documents, Business Requirement Documents, Interface Designs, test scenarios/plans, GUI and Screen Design.
Work closely with Finance management, Subject Matter Experts, and IT Engineers to recommend, justify, and prioritize new enhancements or application feature/functions to improve business process outcomes.
Recommend, counsel and instruct Finance functional areas on process improvement and implement systems capabilities.
Collaborate with Finance, Revenue Cycle and Supply Chain teams to streamline vendor management, patient‑care related expenses, and government reimbursements.
