The Position We are seeking a people-focused
Sales/Leasing Consultant
to join our 55+ community –
Affinity at Albuquerque . The role focuses on relationship selling, driving occupancy to meet short‑term and long‑term leasing goals, and building rapport with prospective and current residents.
Responsibilities
Use professional leasing techniques via phone, email, walk‑ins, and appointments.
Respond to inbound inquiries, gather information, and build personalized relationships.
Accurately enter and update prospect data in the sales management system.
Provide individualized tour experiences that reflect resident needs and interests.
Perform daily prospect follow‑up in line with Affinity expectations and standards.
Coordinate creative follow‑up and engagement for depositors.
Maintain a community culture focused on resident satisfaction and excellent customer service.
Host and participate in onsite community events for residents and prospects.
Build strategic partnerships with local businesses, service providers, and senior housing communities.
Participate in offsite sales and marketing events targeting potential residents and partners.
Use property management software to track availability, record leasing activities, manage data, and capture critical demographics.
Execute marketing activities and events to drive traffic, including referral programs, outreach, online and social media marketing, and special programs.
Ensure online advertisements and postings are accurate and up to date.
Evaluate competitors quarterly to understand competitive positioning.
Maintain required documentation for resident and property files, including background/credit checks and liability insurance.
Observe grounds, buildings, and model apartments, reporting maintenance needs to the Community Director.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and Fair Housing Laws.

Qualifications
Team player with a “we over me” mindset.
Determined, ambitious, and self‑motivated.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Preferred experience in residential property management, retail, sales, or customer service.
Strong communication skills; proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
Strong computer skills: MS Office, property management software (Yardi, On‑Site), and CRM solutions.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
High School diploma or equivalency certificate.
Valid driver’s license and insured, operable vehicle.
