Responsibilities

Implement, maintain, upgrade, and patch software, hardware, and networks following customer processes, guidelines, and standards.

Resolve software, hardware, server, network, and other technical issues with documentation of detection and resolution.

Conduct testing and evaluation of hardware and software, including vulnerability assessment.

Design, test, and implement technical and non-technical security controls to protect information systems.

Generate procedures and guidance documents for installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Provide technical direction to IT support staff at remote locations and oversight during installation and configuration.

Provide logistical support including hardware and software inventory, delivery to remote locations, and user training.

Install, maintain, upgrade, and patch software, hardware, and networks following customer processes, guidelines, and standards.

Conduct installation and configuration of hardware and software by approved procedures.

Provide logistical support including conducting hardware and software inventory.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline OR high school diploma or GED with 4+ years of systems administration experience.

Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems required.

Industry certification IAT Level II by DoD 8570.01-M/8140.03 required.

Minimum DoD Interim Secret clearance required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Technical knowledge of operating systems, software applications, hardware components, and cybersecurity.

Advanced technical knowledge of Microsoft, Red Hat, or Cisco IOS/IOS XE highly desirable.

Ability to communicate technical concerns to varied audiences.

Ability to prioritize tasking and coordinate changes effectively.

Ability to adapt to changing requirements quickly.

Experience with Red Hat, Cisco IOS, Microsoft SQL Server, and automation desirable.

Ability to travel 25%.
