Job Overview The Account Executive – T&D Project Services position is responsible for growing and achieving overall sales goals through the knowledge of Hubbell Products, growing the Hubbell customer relationship, and serving as a project manager for T&D Projects. This position will be responsible for leading customer engagement across multiple product lines and will interact directly with Customer Service, Manufacturing, and multiple Hubbell Business Units. In addition, this role involves mentoring other Account Managers and leadership initiatives for continuous improvement on the team.
A Day In The Life
Serve as the single point of contact for customers, ensuring strong, long-lasting relationships backed by key performance indicators and exceptional support
Assist Project Services Director in project planning/forecasting and the development of a strategic growth strategy
Manage key end user accounts through consistent exposure for Hubbell and an understanding of the key drivers to their business and spending
Develop and execute a short-term and long-term plan for overall market share growth
Analyze markets to identify new business opportunities and generate a pipeline of targeted opportunities
Drive end user preference for Hubbell products
Drive strategic alignment on opportunities across the Hubbell Platform
Promote Hubbell’s Product Portfolio to increase product approvals, promote project management capabilities, and applications of products
Analyze bid documentation to identify applicable Hubbell product offerings that meet required specifications
Review, organize, and present project quote proposals; including terms and conditions, testing, product offering, and delivery schedules
Integrate proposals with construction project timelines to identify material prioritizations or potential adjustments
Oversee project management aspects, ensuring strategic alignment with business goals and seamless integration of sales projects into CRM
Provide pricing support and analysis to optimize bid competitiveness, driving repeat business
Take charge of issue resolution promptly, maintaining communication with all stakeholders to minimize impacts on project timelines and increase customer satisfaction
Conduct project closeouts, evaluating key performance indicators to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement on future bids
Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and/or information on market trends
Assist in leadership and mentor functions on the team to train and encourage peers

BS Degree in Engineering or Business
Minimum 10+ years’ experience
Proficiency in prioritizing tasks
Projects confidence, authority, and enthusiasm
Proficient in utilizing technology to boost sales performance
Possesses exceptional communication skills across various job functions
Background in the Electrical Utility Industry
Must possess exceptional written and oral communication skills
Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills
Ability to travel 50% on business-related trips
Preferred Requirements
Experience in the Electrical Utility Industry
PowerBI experience
Salesforce experience
Manufacturing knowledge
