*Job Summary and Responsibilities*
Franciscan Medical Group, part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, is seeking a full-time Echo Technologist for our Franciscan Heart and Vascular clinic in Burien, WA. Join our patient‑centered team in a fast‑paced clinic offering a variety of testing modalities. No weekends or holidays are required.
Essential Duties
Perform sonographic examinations at a technical level requiring independent judgment and initiative.
Maintain expert knowledge of sonography examinations and equipment.
Proper scheduling, reporting, and filing of all examinations.
Prepare patients for sonography procedures and process and label all exams.
Attend seminars on new developments and present in‑services to departmental staff.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
Graduation from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program.
One year of post‑graduate experience in cardiac ultrasound preferred.
Current registration by ARDMS or certification by Cardiovascular Credentialing International as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
Current BLS certification.
