Audit Manager
Premier Financial Search is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of audit engagements across commercial businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and employee benefit plans (EBPs). Pay Range
Base pay range: $120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Manage the full audit process, including planning, fieldwork, and completion of engagements for commercial, not-for-profit, and EBP clients Oversee audit staff and seniors, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback Review financial statements, workpapers, and deliverables for accuracy and compliance with GAAP, GAAS, and applicable standards Conduct risk assessments and evaluate internal controls to identify areas for improvement Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and delivering proactive communication throughout engagements Research and resolve technical accounting and auditing issues relevant to commercial, NFP, and EBP audits Ensure projects are completed within deadlines and budgets, while upholding quality standards Collaborate with firm leadership on practice development and growth opportunities Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required Minimum 5 years of progressive public accounting experience, with significant exposure to commercial, not-for-profit, and EBP audits Prior supervisory or management experience leading audit teams Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, ERISA, and audit regulations applicable to EBPs and NFPs Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency with audit software and Microsoft Office Suite Contact
